Alhambra House
In 1996, a home for six men, Alhambra House, was opened in Rowland Heights, CA. The project was funded, in part, by a large grant from a local chapter of the International Order of the Alhambra, a fraternal organization of Catholic men dedicated to assisting persons developmentally disabled by mental retardation.
In 2001, Marian Homes received funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), under Section 811 (Housing for Persons with Disabilities), to pay off the balance of the mortgages of Gabriel House and Alhambra House.
